The Bible study class taught by Pastor Brumfield is intended to be instructional, inspirational and transformative. Each lesson is packed with meaningful life changing principles and precepts from the Word of God. Pastor Brumfield deals with relative and pertinent matters that affect God’s people.

Our Bible study classes are designed to provide challenging, inspiring, Christ-centered sessions that address the diverse interests of students while promoting in-depth study that is prayerful, organized and participatory. We offer courses on Wednesday and Friday nights at 7:00 p.m. as well as on Thursday mornings at 11:00 a.m. We are committed to serving the needs of all persons who are interested in learning more about the Word of God.
This is an exciting, contemporary and innovative experience for youth 13-18 years of age. Young people who attend these classes are given an opportunity to voice their concerns as everyday issues and situations are explored through inspirational poetry, rap, film, discussion, and instruction.

Creativity and variety are used to bring the scriptures to life at a level that can be understood by children 5-12 years of age through reading, discussions, question and answer sessions and arts and crafts projects.

To provide a method for college students to keep in tune with their faith while they are focused on their studies.
God’s Word is taught each Sunday morning. Children and youth assemble in the Chapel at 8:30 a.m. for a devotional session. At 9:00 a.m. they are dispersed to attend age-appropriate classes that last until approximately 10:15 a.m.
Members of this ministry supervise and instruct young children 4-6 years of age during the 11:00 a.m. worship service. This ministry offers the children a structured Bible Study. Parents are encouraged to assist as volunteers.
The New Membership Class is a series of three sessions structured to inform new members about the history, doctrines, and organizational structure of the African Methodist Episcopal Church. The Bible and an instructional manual, The Spiritual Aptitude Test (S.A.T.), authored by Bishop Gregory G.M. Ingram, are the primary texts for learning.
The Media Ministry skillfully monitors and regulates the sanctuary’s sound system. Members of this ministry are also responsible for recording, duplicating and distributing CD’s of Sunday worship services and other specially designated events to those persons who wish to purchase them.
This 10-week Bible Study course is held each week from May-July and is designed to give college students home on summer break an opportunity to study God’s Word and fellowship with persons in their own age group and life situation. Wednesdays: 7:00 p.m. (May-July only)
