Ministry to Men

The Master’s Men

Inspired by men whose lives have been touched by God, the Master’s Men of Oak Grove African Methodist Episcopal Church is a ministry of Christian brothers committed to bringing men to a higher dimension of spirituality.

Those who become members of the Master’s Men are required to complete the School of Prophets. This intense course of spiritually based studies covers what it means to be “Men Called By God” and outlines Biblical principles including the criteria for spiritual leadership.

Upon completion of the School of Prophets, each Master’s Man must become a positive role model for the boys and young men of the church and serve on the Brothers of Aaron ministry.

The Master’s Men are called upon to welcome new brothers into the church, accept responsibility for making them aware of the Master’s Men program and other aspects of the Men’s Ministry.

Men’s Day and Other Events

Men’s Day is a celebration that is the culmination of a spiritual journey that unites men with God and enhances the growth and strength of their brotherhood. Held in October of each year, Men’s Day affords each man an opportunity to reflect and celebrate upon his relationship with the Lord.
